Our Process
1. Connect Virtually
We start with a personalized virtual consultation via Zoom or FaceTime, connecting you with Tom and Lora from our base in Japan. We’ll explore your past travel experiences and dreams for your next luxury getaway. We will discuss your preferred destinations (e.g., Japan’s temples, Thailand’s reefs), travel dates, budget, and unique preferences like diving or cultural immersion.
2. Craft Your Journey
Tom and Lora will design a bespoke itinerary tailored to your vision, drawing on their 30+ years of expertise and insider knowledge of Japan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and South Korea. You’ll receive a curated selection of options, enhanced with Virtuoso perks like room upgrades or spa credits at top hotels. We’ll refine the plan together until it’s perfect for you.
3. Secure Your Adventure
Once your itinerary is finalized, we’ll guide you through the booking process online. You’ll securely make a deposit or full payment depending on your travel arrangements (e.g., a Mekong cruise in Laos or a ryokan stay in Kyoto). A detailed payment schedule and booking confirmation will be emailed so you can start counting down to your trip.
4. Enhance Your Experience
Before your departure, we’ll add personalized touches to elevate your journey—think private tours of Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, a diving excursion in Thailand with our PADI-certified expertise, or a cultural workshop in South Korea. We’ll ensure every detail, including sustainable travel options, aligns with your desires.
5. Embark and Inspire
Your adventure begins! About 14 to 30 days before departure, we’ll email you your final travel documents and host a virtual call to answer any questions.
